Your neighbors are counting on you

Nearly two million Americans are living with the side effects of hazardous housing - sickness, isolation, and hopelessness. Your gift today will provide the critical home repairs needed for our neighbors to remain safely in their own homes and our communities. Thank you

Ways to Donate

It’s easy to donate! You can donate by sending a check to 3500 Patterson Ave., Richmond, VA 23221, or clicking the Donate Button. In addition to financial contributions, you can donate stock or matching funds from your employers if they offer a matching gifts program. Find the way that makes sense for you.

Corporate Matching Gifts

Many employers will match tax-deductible charitable contributions from their employees, retirees, and spouses. Contact your Human Resources Department and use Rebuilding Together of Richmond’s EIN #: 54-1652359 to double your impact!

Visit Charity Navigator or ask your employer to see if your company offers a matching program.

Gifts of Stock

Did you know that when you donate stock, you avoid the tax on the gain while deducting 100% of the value of the contribution? When you give stock, you may earn 2-3x the tax savings vs. donating cash. It’s a win-win for you and us. And now it’s fast, safe and easy to do.

Rebuilding Together Richmond has partnered with DonateStock.com to enable our supporters to make stock donations in 10 minutes or less. Our DonateStock page https://donatestock.com/rtrva allows you to donate stock from your brokerage directly to our account through a secure portal, making the gifting process fast, safe, and easy.

So remember, charitable giving doesn’t always mean cash. By giving stock, your support will have an even more significant impact—without denting your pocketbook. Give smart and save more by putting stock in something that matters.
