Individual Opportunities
Looking to get your hands dirty and make a direct impact? As a skilled or unskilled volunteer, you can assist with projects during National Rebuilding Day, Fall Fix-Up Day, and various community events throughout the year. We especially need skilled volunteers to act as Technical Leads on project sites.
If you prefer to volunteer behind the scenes, we are always looking for passionate planners and organizers to join our Fundraising Committee.
To enquire about individual opportunities, please email info@rtrva.org.
Team Opportunities
Corporate and community groups seeking to maximize the impact of their contributions can “adopt a house/community space” through our National Rebuilding Day, Fall Fix-Up Day, or year-round Partner Build programs.
Each program's teams are assigned a house/community space based on the number of team volunteers and skill level. They are responsible for planning the repairs, procuring materials, and executing the work at their assigned project site. Please see our Annual Partnership Package or contact us for more information.
Crew Leaders (Formerly House Captains)
On National Rebuilding Day (NRD) and Fall Fix-Up Day, the Crew Leader serves as the leader and site supervisor of the project, directing the enthusiasm and energy of a group of volunteers. Groups typically consist of 15-20 volunteers, both skilled and unskilled, with a skilled tradesperson available whenever needed.
Crew Leaders may be provided by each Annual Rebuilding Partner or may volunteer as individuals.
Being a Crew Leader is an outstanding opportunity for those with leadership experience and skill to maximize their contribution to transforming lives, improving homes, and revitalizing communities!
